While in Indonesia, our first major stop (not including the first two nights in Kuta) was North Bali in the Lovina/Surabaya area. We were there in rainy season, so we didn’t do any beach-going. But the drives into the hills and exploring the towns, sitting on our porch enjoying the rain on the rise paddies, and eating all the mi goreng we could find more than made up for it.
