Amazing blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Many thanks!
This is my first website, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. However, I am very happy with WordPress. I had purchased my domain name a couple of years ago so it was nice to be able to map it to my WordPress site. I didn’t want people to have to go to a WordPress URL. It does cost money to map it but it is very cheap and, IMHO, worth it.
As far as advice for aspiring writers… I myself am an aspiring writer. I guess I would say, just write. As I walk around during the day, my brain is constantly composing based on the things I observe around me. Now, that’s how I work. Other people may take notes of significant things and fill in the details later. However your process works. But, again, just write!
