At 31 years young, I decided that I wanted to be an adventurer when I grow up. I decided to not wake up in my forties or fifties and have regret about not seizing the day. I decided that in order to pursue my love for photography and travel writing, I would also pursue a love for teaching.
In the fall of 2011, I became TEFL certified.
In the spring of 2012, I received a job offer to teach in Hat Yai, Thailand. I accepted.
I put most everything I own in storage, sold my car, found loving, semi-permanent homes for my kitties and bought a one-way ticket.
On May 22nd, 2012, I boarded a plane headed for my new life on the opposite side of the world.
Rock ‘n roll, Robyn. Rock ‘n roll.
